Gary is the founder of Icon Security Group Limited.  He formed the company with a vision of creating a full services security company that would deliver a consistently professional, reliable and accountable service for private individuals, corporate, government and local body organisations.

Having witnessed the rapidly widening gap between the service expectations and the needs of customers, Gary is very focused on developing a service delivery model and systems which ensure clients obtain continuing value from their relationship with Icon Group.  For this reason, he has placed considerable focus on recruiting and building a top quality management team, capable of delivering high value, professional services for Icon’s Clients.

Gary has been involved in the security industry almost his entire working life. He first joined Armourguard Security in 1983 as the Company Accountant. After approximately nine years working in financial roles, he then moved into various service and general management roles.  For the last four years with Armourguard, Gary was the General Manager for the company.

Prior to establishing Icon Group, Gary operated in a specialist role for a large multinational company, evaluating acquisition opportunities and managing the acquisition process.
