Tony has an extensive background in the security field including 18 years with the New Zealand Defence Forces and more recently as an operational manager and trainer for advanced security procedures within the New Zealand Security Industry.

Tony brings a wealth of experience and a unique style to his training, a style that has been developed over years of training delivery in a range of security related topics. He is a NZQA qualified Workplace Assessor and is an industry expert in areas such as critical incident management, personal safety, self defence and close protection procedures.

He combines this training with his own considerable experience in the field.

Tony’s personal interest in training, his professional experience as a facilitator and his considerable experience in high risk security situations make him a valuable asset to the ICON GROUP and to our clients.
