ICON Group's Noise Control Officers are used to making a name for themselves due to their efficient and prompt service whilst fulfilling their duties for Auckland, Waitakere and North Shore City Councils respectively however they are now obtaining a high media profile.

In recent months our officers have been profiled in the Auckland City Council City Scene Newsletter sent to all residents and ratepayers and appeared in feature stories in both the television series 'The Inspectors' and '20/20'.  Our Officers have also been involved in filming a new series called 'Noise Control' from the producers of 'Piha Rescue'.  Watch 'Noise Control' at 8:00pm on Mondays on TV3.  This series focuses on the issues of noise, the rights of individuals and the duties of Noise Control Officers.

Mike Dennison, ICON Group's Manager Noise Control Services, says "It's nice for the team to get some recognition and for people to realise some of the difficult situations they face but untimately, we all enjoy the job we do and recognition comes from achieving the performance targets that are set for us".
